Digital release of the day:

Another fine project with the very talented Mr. J Shogren, this digital only release (+ shirt) features an awesome bird illustration via Jeff Rogers.

CD of the day:

I've worked with J Shogren many times over with his releases... always happy to be a part of his projects. This CD sleeve package features an incredible woodcut by artist Tom Rauschenfels, with screenprinted poster and shirt as well.

Cover of the day:

An art rock experimental endeavor titled Lighthaus. Used one of my own photos from a recent visit to the coast and created a logo for the project as well. For fans of:  The Denison/Kimball Trio, The Roots of Orchis, Heroin & Your Veins, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, Black Chamber, Bohren & Der Club of Gore, Povaroe, and Manet. Listen here.

CD Digipak of the day:

A newly-designed project for my return customer and dear friend, Paul Speer. The blue diamonds used as a graphic element inspired/developed from those on the shirt that the artist is wearing. Paul has created his own music since 1965 and is a grammy-nominated engineer for all types/styles of sonic endeavors. The guy has worked with Joan Jett, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Missy Elliott, Himsa, Matt Cameron, the Reverend Jessie Jackson, Slash, Scott Rockenfield (a partial listing of artists and companies that comprise the more than 250 albums or other projects Paul has produced, engineered, or mastered).

Vinyl of the day:

The pre-order for the Process Black 7" that I designed is up, get all the different wax colorways here.

Cover of the day:

Every once and a while, you take photos for/design a cover for your own sonic solo material... listen in here.

Covers of the day:

Designing your own record covers is both terrifying and satisfying, check out the Hellvetika "Complexity vs. Simplicity" EPs here, I'm stoked with the results, sonically and visually.

Illo of the day:

Sometimes you do an illustration for the one and only Katy Perry. Yup, that happened.
Perry has received various awards, including four Guinness World Records, five American Music Awards, a Brit Award, and a Juno Award, and has been included in the annual Forbes lists of highest-earning women in music from 2011–2018. Her estimated net worth as of 2016 is $125 million. She is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 100 million records globally throughout her career. In film, she released an autobiographical documentary titled "Katy Perry: Part of Me in 2012", and voiced Smurfette in the 2011 film "The Smurfs" and its sequel in 2013. Perry also began serving as a judge on American Idol in 2018.

Illo of the day:

My pal Dewey, of the impressive catalog of super stars that is Peer Pleasure Podcast, asked me to do an illustration for him. I was delighted, and created the missing audio puzzle piece.

Cassette of the day:

Photography and design for the Lumbar cassette (as with the CD and LP) by yers truly... available in very small numbers, here.
